Helga Valdís is the artist behind Krot dagsins

I graduated as a graphic designer from the Iceland University of the Arts in 2004 and today I work as Associate Creative Director at Brandenburg. Before that I worked for a decade at Hvíta húsið, but my career began at the Fíton advertising agency. With over 25 years of experience in the advertising industry, many of my drawing projects have been used in advertisements, logos, book illustrations and a great deal of packaging.

I have always been doodling, and the name stuck with me early on. In 2019 I started drawing pictures on instagram.com/helga_valdis/ and tagging them #krotdagsins, and following that, making Icelandic giphy stickers so that people could use them in stories on social media. Today the stickers have been viewed more than 1.6 billion times. (Giphy.com/helgavaldis)

This site was made to satisfy the need of the artist who wants to share her doodles. Doodling is my hobby, so don't worry if I don't reply straight away. Enjoy, and please be nice!
